DIFFERENTIATORS POINTING TO SUCCESS

PRODUCT - Patented, revolutionary technology which solves an existing, multi-billion dollar problem for healthcare providers, insurance and government payers, and healthcare staff.

MANAGEMENT - Accomplished engineering, marketing, manufacturing and financial management personnel with proven experience in identifying, creating and bringing products to market.

INVESTMENT FROM HEALTHCARE INSIDERS - The vast majority of initial funding and investment in ConMediSys was provided by physicians and other healthcare professionals - indicating their understanding of the utility and value of the MediGLIDER™ in the daily activities of healthcare staff.

STRATEGY TO BUILD CORPORATE VALUE - ConMediSys will seek and acquire additional products and services to enhance its corporate value.

LEGISLATIVE INCENTIVES - The state of Texas passed a law, effective January 1, 2006, which mandated that each hospital in Texas develop a lifting program that assists its staff in learning how to lift and move patients safely. The hospitals in Texas are directed to migrate to a mechanical solution to staff injury problems resulting from lifting and moving patients. Thirteen other states and the US Congress are considering similar laws.

INCENTIVES FOR PROFITABILITY - Healthcare agencies can anticipate significant savings in reduced workers’ comp costs and increased employee productivity achieved by the MediGLIDER’s “One-person” transfer requirement vs. the usual multiple team member lifting team requirement.

  THE MediGLIDER's UNIQUE ADVANTAGES ...

  • NO PRE-POSITIONING OF THE PATIENT BEFORE LIFTING All other patient transfer devices require patients to be placed on a transfer medium (pad, mattress, air bladder, sheet, etc.) before the device can be operated to lift and transfer the patient.  The placement of the patient onto the transfer medium is normally accomplished through assembly of a team and physical lifting of the care givers  - greatly reduciing the advantages of using the other patient lifting devices.
  • NO PHYSICAL LIFTING The MediGLIDER™ patient transfer process requires almost no physical lifting – a major factor in risk management for staff and patient injury.  (Note:  As stated above - with other patient transfer devices, there is still some physical lifting to pre-position the patient.)
  • SINGLE PERSON OPERATION The MediGLIDER™ patient transfer process can be accomplished with a single person equating to cost savings in employed staff and staff workload management – a major factor in nurse staffing in a short supply marketplace.
  • THE PATIENT LIFT DEVICE AND THE GURNEY INTEGRATED TOGETHER The MediGLIDER™ functions as both a gurney and a mechanized patient lift integrated into a single product creating an unequaled state-of-the-art patient mover.
  • UNIQUE STATE-OF-THE-ART PATIENT LIFT DEVICE The MediGLIDER™ is the only gurney type transport device that can be powered forward and backward, controlled from either end, steered and turned making a 90 degree turn, and laterally parked side of a patient’s bed or by a diagnostic or surgical table.
